Anxiety Panic Attack Symptoms
Anxiety is a normal part of life. However, sometimes you go through a period where everything is fine and you
feel okay. Then all of a sudden there's a bout of anxiety. It's normal, but you certainly want to ease the symptoms
and feel better as soon as you can.
Stress is one thing, but severe anxiety is another. It comes as anxiety attacks that can affect your mental
state very seriously, causing you to spin out of control and even be so sad that you're thinking about death and
grief.
Anxiety attacks can cause you to have very serious physical symptoms. These can be things like sweating, or fast
heart beat, or faintness, or nausea. You feel as if you're not in your body and you don't know how to regain
control and be normal again.
These anxiety attacks last for some time and can be quite debilitating. They're so scary that you don't want to
risk having another. This can keep you trapped in your home and afraid to put yourself in a place where it could
happen again. It then affects your ability to work and to have normal social relationships.
Try everything you can on your own first. But if techniques such as positive visualization, breathing exercises,
and comforting self-talk don't work for you, it will be necessary to consult with a doctor about these anxiety
attacks. There is medical help available.
You can avoid stressful situations as much as possible. Get help with tasks that might be too difficult and
worrisome for you. Engage the support of family and friends by telling them what your triggers are. Also tell them
what the symptoms are so they can help talk you through whenever you're starting to feel overwhelmed. Just knowing
there are people close to you who are on your side and who don't think you're crazy for having these symptoms can
alleviate a lot of the stress. You'll have help for initiating the kind of changes you want to make, and that can
make all the difference.
Don't be afraid to take medicine that's prescribed for you by a physician or psychiatrist. That, combined with
talk therapy, can be what it takes to turn things around. It isn't wimpy to use medication to help you get strong
enough to take advantage of such talk therapy. You can be proud of yourself every time you catch hold of yourself
when you're about to spin out of control.
Don't forget to keep up with the breathwork you began with. Just because you're on medication doesn't mean you
don't want to work on yourself. This will help you feel more in control so that someday you may find it possible to
get off the drugs. It is possible to regain self-confidence so that your life can be even better than it was before
the attacks.
This Panic Away Review should make it clearer for you.
